Supplied in kit form, comprising of:

COVERS - VERSIRAK SERIES
Material 1,2mm aluminium, conductive finish Alocrom
1000. Covers can be fitted or removed without dismantling
the original frame assembly, the cover is secured in
position using 4 x M5 fixings which screw into the front
and rear horizontal rail of a TYPE 3 subrack. The cover
extends over the sideplate edges which allows intermediate
horizontal rails to be positioned beneath the cover.
EMC gaskets are supplied to improve screening performance.
The covers are available in plain and ventilated with
a 32% free air pattern. Full EMC and heat dissipation
test results are available on request. Compatible only
with Versirak subracks.
Versirak has been tested at an independent NAMAS test
house with results obtained for a number of configurations,
these include the subrack being fitted with: vented
and plain covers, PCB front panels, hinged front panels
and internally subdivided with the divider screen plate.
Measurements were taken for differing combinations of
components and varying gasket positioning. Full test
results are available on request. Because Versirak has
been designed with EMC upgradability, the tests demonstrate
the improvements made through the addition of the various
accessories from the Versirak range.
o increase air flow, a number of other perforation patterns
are available to special order. These include a “honeycomb”
pattern that maintains a high level of EMC with 99%
free air. Other patterns conform to UL and BS requirements
with varying levels of ingress protection.
The cover may be purchased as a part allowing gaskets
to be added if required to suit the application.
Additional sizes to suit 42HP useable width subracks
are available as a piece part.
